Hello and Goodbye

Hello February,

Goodbye January.

Hello big pink hearts,

Goodbye tangerine flavored hearts.

Hello Valentine’s Day chocolate,

I’ll keep January in my locket.

The past month is out the door,

We’ll see what this one has in store.

Love that smokes is not true love,

Love that sparks is not true love,

Love that blazes a little is close.

But love that is a wildfire…

Is the truest love there is.
