St. Brendan Middle School Adds New Class

The St. Brendan Middle School has added a News class to the 2022-2023 school year.  Grades 7th and 8th meet once a week to work on stories about the happenings in the elementary and middle schools.  “We are hopeful that it lasts for many more years.  It is a big role but we look forward to providing our readers with the information and what is happening in Saint Brendan’s School and Parish,” says Peyton Koontz.  The eighth graders are handling the bigger jobs and the seventh graders are testing the waters of this new experience and watching to see what they are taking over for their eighth-grade year.

Our newspaper consists of 6 categories; News, Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Features, Activities, and Opinions. Each category has a different set of students working on it, of course ranging through 7-8th grades. We are proud to be a part of The Lucky Leprechauns newspaper. Though it is a large task operating a newspaper, under Mrs. Lamb, our adviser’s watchful eye, we are sure not to fail.
