MMS Goes Against Centralia

The Mexico Middle School held a volleyball game against Centralia. The players from St. Brendan who are on the Mexico Middle School volleyball team are Averee Hampton, Danica Thompson, and Josslynn Howell. It was a home game against Centralia. First, the setter set the ball backwards. Next, Averee dove for the ball and hit it. I watched it fly over the net in amazement. I had got to the game just a little bit late with Mexico in the lead!  I watched as Mexico continued getting points. Centralia finally got a point but Mexico didn’t let up and Centralia didn’t score for a while. The first game ended and as suspected Mexico won! The next game started, Danica grabbed the ball and served it just barely getting the ball over the net. One girl from the other team hit the ball high but not over the net. She didn’t move away in time for her other team mate to hit it. We got the POINT! Danica served again and sadly this time it didn’t go over the net, so Centratila got the ball but they didn’t keep it for long. Other people served but then it was Josslyn’s turn she served it she served it super high but it didn’t go over the net.
