House Competitions

On March 23 St.Brendan’s had a house competition. The theme was March Madness. The house competition was planned by Mrs.Farnell. The various activities were, knockout, wrapping a hula hoop with streamers to see how many basketballs it could hold, and names. 

The first competition was the streamer game. In this game we wrapped a hula hoop with streamers to see how many basketballs could be held. The winner of this game was Anthony. Following shortly after was Eligius, then Brigid, and last was Seton. 

The second competition was a knockout tournament. In this game two houses faced off at a time on one half of the gym and the other two houses on the other side of the gym. When the round was completed the two houses would then rotate to play another house. Once all the houses faced off against each other the game was completed. First for this tournament was Seton, followed by Brigid, then Eligius, and last Anthony. 

Lastly we finished off the house competition with names. First going for names was Eligius, second was Brigdet, Anthony, and lastly Seton. Anthony won first for names, Seton winning second, then Bridget and last was Eligius. Natalie Landis did the names for Anthony, Lydia did names for Bridget, Lucas for Eligius, and Lillie Gard  for Seton.  Seton and Anthony won and tied for first place and Bridget and Eligius tied for second.
