Volleyball has begun. At Saint Brendans, Averee Hampton, Aemelia Bruaker, Caroline Fisher and Julia Georne play volleyball for Mexico Middle School. We have practice every weekday besides Saturday and Sunday. The practice starts after school to 5:00pm.  When our team gets an ace, we all say “a c e, aceee” while stomping. An ace is when someone serves the ball over the net, and the other team either hits it once or doesn’t hit it all, and we get the point. Another chant we do is “D O G S, DOGS” when we play a rally and we get the point. The last chant we do is when we get a hit. So if someone sets us up and we get a kill, the people on the court says “ oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh” and then the people in the stands and the bench get up and say “ OH, OH, OH, OH, OH,OHH” while stomping and clapping in a circle.

 We had our last game Tuesday. We didn’t win, the score was 23 to 25. We won 4 out of 12 games. 7th grade won 9 out of 12 and got Second place in the tournament.
