This year for volleyball at Mexico Middle School, many people from Saint Brendans went out for the Volleyball team, 7th and 8th grade girls. Every year SB are allowed to CO-OP with the MMS for every sport except for basketball, since we have our own team. Last year I played for the MMS on the 7th grade team, and this year I’m back playing for the 8th grade team. The 7th graders this year from Saint Brendan’s playing volleyball are, Elaine, Caroline, Audrey, Cecelia, Lorisa, Leah, Eva, Avery #1 and Avery #2. The 8th graders playing this year are Caroline and Julia.
We started practicing August 19th, a bit after school started, and our first game is on the tenth of September. We all are very excited for our first game, and hope we can play well. All of us have been practicing hard, and I think it will be fun watching us play.
