Every Catholic Schools week at Saint Brendan’s we have a movie day. Some of the days are movies and others are scavenger hunts and bowling. For elementary school they have the movie on Friday and for middle school we have the movie on Thursday. There are four movies. The movies are The Lorax, Toy Story, Cars, and National Treasure: Book of Secrets. A lot of kids love the movie day because it takes up time in class and involves snacks. Here are some of the students’ thoughts on the movies this year:
Leah, 8th grade
Leah brought Chester’s Hot Fries and a mango orange ice drink. Leah got the movie Toy Story. She wanted Toy Story and did not want the National Treasure: Book of Secrets. Leah likes bowling more than movies.
Audrey, 7th grade
Audrie does not want to get the movie National Treasure: Book Of Secrets. She is bringing a Gatorade and Sour Patch Kids and Skittles. Audrey likes bowling better.
Ember, 6th grade
Ember says she wants to get the movie National Treasure: Book of Secrets. She hopes she does not get the movie Cars because she has seen the movie before and disliked it. She would pick movies over bowling because you can bring your own snack.
